Alice Phillips has been a masters swimmer for over 20 years. She has garnered 30 individual top ten times in US masters as well as 38 relay top tens, including three All-American relays. Alice admires all of the triathletes at POWM and wishes she could still run, something she enjoyed for decades before arthritic knees forced her to hang up her Nikes. To round out her training these days she enjoys yoga, weights and regular hikes with her dog. Alice also teaches science and coaches the Trinity Episcopal School Titans, where she was named the VISAA Coach of the Year in 2013. Her teams have posted a 75% win record and finished in the top ten in the state for the past 12 years. When not on deck, she enjoys time with her husband Brian and two high school aged kids as well as gardening and cooking.
