The USAT Splash and Dash, Richmond will be held on June 28, 2014 and is a partnership between Endorphin Fitness, Peluso Open Water, and the Collegiate School Aquatics Center. The goal is to provide kids age 7-15 a safe, fun introduction to multisport. This race includes a short swim, followed immediately by a short run to the finish line. Some key features of this race include:
USAT National Series - The Richmond Splash & Dash is part of the USA Triathlon Youth Splash and Dash Aquathlon Series.
Anyone Can Participate - No bike required. Splash and Dash offers kids a chance to race in a multisport format without the added experience and expense that cycling requires. Therefore, any kid who knows how to swim can enjoy this awesome race experience.
Race Distances - All races in the Splash and Dash series have the following distances:
Swim Course - The swim will be held in a 8-lane, 50m pool which was used in the 2008 Olympic Trials in Omaha, Nebraska, where world records were set. Although in a pool for safety reasons, the course will be set up in an open water format with buoys instead of lane lines.

Run Course - The run will be held on the ground of the Collegiate School Aquatics Center and be completely free from traffic.

Registration Fee - $30
(All racers must be a member of USAT or purchase a one-day license for $10)
All athletes receive a Splash & Dash race t-shirt and custom finisher medal.
